Pros

Excellent teamwork not just within the department but across groups and regions. Agent Attrition was the lowest in the industry. Recruiting team were a positive standout compared to other call centers. Servant leader attitude by top management. Trailblazers in the industry. Etelecare was known for its culture and values. It prides itself on honestry, excellence, professionalism and a fun environment. It was not just said by the employees, it was breathed by its employees.

Cons

Unfortunately, my turning point was when Etelecare was bought out by Stream. While I was optimistic at the change at first, this was eventually affected by the "different" culture brought in and imposed by the new group. Too many changes were quickly effected without sending out proper communication. The atmosphere became too rigid. This caused major dissatisfaction among the tenured employees which resulted to a high attrition rate for that period.

Pros

There were opportunities to make good commission here. It had a very laid back environment and most of the management was good at trying to make the teams sales goals.

Cons

If you are not an aggressive or assertive salesperson, you will likely not hit your commission goal. When I worked there, they were sending people home if you had made several calls but had not made a sale. For many of us who at least need our hourly paycheck, getting sent home half way into your day was unacceptable.
