Pros

The Operations group that I worked with was extremely supportive of developing their people, and providing growth and advancement opportunities for those who worked hard and were committed. Working from home full time without a need to be on camera was a bonus. In general, it was a positive work environment and most people were very easy to get along with, and made an effort to create a team-oriented, non-competitive culture. They were VERY accommodating with me about leave, and supported me through some difficult times and times when I needed additional leave/short notice leave.

Cons

Sometimes the decisions by upper management seemed to be made based on emotion (not objectively), as if the company were still a small startup. While working from home was very flexible and management was very accommodating of requests for alterations to schedules, etc. they required certain working hours, even for salaried staff. This may not be an issue for all, but was a downside for me in the long run.

Pros

I can honestly say it’s one of the best career moves I’ve made. The leadership team is supportive, and there is a strong sense of collaboration throughout the company. I love the flexibility of remote work, the opportunities for professional growth, and the ability to make a meaningful impact with clients. One of the things I appreciate most is the company culture—everyone is willing to help, share knowledge, and work together to find the best solutions. The work itself is engaging, especially with the variety of clients and projects. I’ve had the chance to deepen my expertise while also learning new strategies to help organizations optimize their systems.

Cons

Like any growing company, communication can sometimes get lost between management and the team, but leadership is open to feedback and always looking to improve. If something isn’t clear, asking questions and seeking clarification goes a long way. Also, when it comes to salary increases, you do need to advocate for yourself—raises aren’t automatic, but if you make your case, leadership is willing to listen. Benefits offer good coverage, but they can be a bit costly.
