Pros

The people are mostly great - and office generally has a nice atmosphere Always got a yearly pay rise.

Cons

They seem to make redundancies every two to three years so no job security . Happened twice while I worked there and also before I started. The software is mostly using legacy technology and generates lots of bugs. Lack of benefits. Poor and old equipment. Below average salary. Limited path for progression.

Pros

eSight Energy has been the best place I've ever worked at. I've been with the company for over 5 years and the company has treated me very well. The workplace culture is friendly, inviting, and offers ample space for challenging and advancing oneself. It is definitely an environment where you can be rewarded for working hard and taking ownership and pride in your work. Everyone has a lot of control over their own domains, which is for some people and not others. Highly recommended to anyone who is looking to challenge him or herself and can pave their own way, as at this place you're only limited by your own ambitions.

Cons

As a smaller company you may miss out on some of the benefits of a large technology company, but in my opinion the pros have always vastly outweighed any of these cons.

Pros

Product eSight develops and licenses energy monitoring software. It is easily among the best in class for this category, and demand for EMS platforms is unlikely to diminish in the foreseeable future. New features are regularly added, so the product is quite dynamic. Culture As a small company, eSight has a very tight-knit, family feel. Coworkers tend to interact positively with one another, and there is a strong sense of comaraderie in the office. Benefits eSight has a 35 hour work week, which is rather unusual. They also provide employees with more paid holidays than is typical in this area. Career opportunities Because eSight is a small company, there are not advancement opportunities popping up continuously. However, there are many opportunities to demonstrate leadership, and eSight likes to promote from within when an opening appears. Additionally, as the company grows new roles are sometimes created. This provides employees with the opportunity to move into related positions.

Cons

Benefits Although eSight offers medical insurance, family coverage is quite expensive. There is no dental offered.
