eGroup Response
9yThanks for the review - and I appreciate the affirmation of the strong team culture and favorable ratings! We've worked very hard over the past 18 months to "level up" in line with our growth, knowing that along the way some decisions were made that were right in some regards, but wrong in others. Thankfully, we've been able to navigate through the transformation of the industry, our business, and some specific individuals to get to where we wanted to be.
Glassdoor doesn't provide me with an opportunity to know when you left the team so all I can say is that this is a great opportunity to openly communicate that eGroup has always succeeded "because of" our team, not at the expense of it. Having just invested in, and celebrated our 2017 kick-off at Kiawah Island in open recognition of every member of our team, and in appreciation of every individual's accomplishments (from my opening keynote), it's certainly disappointing to see the "doesn't see the true value of employees" statement. I’d value any direct suggestions you may have for the team – you’ll know my email and phone number from your time with us – and that we value direct and actionable feedback.
The mention of “engineers getting assigned to tasks they're not properly trained for” indicates a slight unfamiliarity with the method in which we assign, communicate, and deliver projects, considering we take care to ensure the team is aligned and ready for work to commence through a series of internal, then customer-facing calls, talking through scopes, and ensuring we’re “good to go” before work ever commences, but I suppose it’s possible that your time pre-dates the maturity of our current process.
As indicated in previous responses I've written for Glassdoor, I maintain a 100% open door policy for any member of the eGroup team, or broader community, to express their concerns, needs, suggestions, or expectations! No need to be anonymous and nonspecific with this much team support ready to invest in, and cheer on, your success. We’re ready to put your suggestions for improvements into practice.
