Pros

Great business model! No denying the opportunity for success is there. Edropoff prepares you for the worst because you will never work for somebody so egotistical and flat out MEAN again in your life.

Cons

McFadden believes that she invented the luxury consignment business. (Which is not true, she ripped it off of someone else) however feels this justifies -being disrespectful to her employees -treating her customers like they are peasants -maintaining a sick obsession with anybody that starts a consignment business, similarly. There is no denying her mistreatment of employees - the evidence is in the ridiculously high employee turnover. She is incapable of rewarding good behavior and is quick to attack the smallest of mistakes. Customer service only exists after the fact. Whether there is a threat to leave bad feedback, or to take business elsewhere. It's sad to see customer service have to manage all of the disgruntled customers when they are not at fault for failing to deliver what the consignment process promises.

Pros

This was one of my first jobs out of college. Initially, I felt frustrated at basic things such as pay, hours and management's expectations. However it still wasn't half as bad as some of the other jobs I'd worked so I decided to stick it out. I'm glad I did because now a couple years later, I realize my frustrations had nothing to do with Edrop Off itself and everything to do with the unrealistic expectations I had as a recent college grad. I guess that's what 16 years of being told you can have anything you want if you just believe will do to you. Who doesn't want to walk out of college and into a job with a $100k salary, full benefits, a month of paid vacation and a company car? Working here is fun because the staff is small and tight knit so you get to know everyone's personalities and talents. I also enjoy being able to interact directly with managers or with Corri rather than having to "contact corporate" with every issue that comes up. Questions are answered and issued are resolved very quickly. Best pros: fun atmosphere, a good variation in work, ability to move up within the business if you prove you're there to stay, you can tell management genuinely cares about you. And actually the hours are awesome compared with what most of my friends work.

Cons

In some departments, turnover is high. Since the staff is small, having even one good person leave can really stint your personal growth as well as the business's.
