owner/c-suite have very little understanding of the product they are trying to sell or how to engage users. They get caught up on flimsy "grand ideas" that inevitably fail and leave everything else with no attention or support. They often don't listen to anyone or anything that doesn't already align with their own ideas. Because they are bad at running a business, they constantly lose money and have gone through massive layoffs over the past year.
