Pros
-You can plan you own time, as you work on your own most of the time travelling to various stores to merchandise the goods on display. -Flexible working hours- you can start and finish at a time you want. Really suitable for working mums who are on the school run. -Monday- Friday working days. No weekends! -Flexibility to merchandise the stock how you like to a certain degree so you can be alittle more creative than totally by the book. Allows abit of your own styling though of course you still have to stick to the guidelines as close as possible!
Cons
-The hourly rate could be better. Given that you do have a fair amount of responsibility to look after and maintain your designated stores. - Not much room to make up to full time hours. Contracts are usually 14hours or less a week. Unless you are promoted to a manager where it is full time and salaried. - You are not paid for any over time, should you work longer than your set contracted hours. If you do end up working too many extra hours, then this is balanced out by giving you those hours off (finish early or skip a service) to make up the overtime hours. Or if there was a great amount of overtime owned, then you would take it off as holiday.
