- Diverse pool of in-house expertise to draw experience from; the field of robotics is broad, so you can learn many things that are relevant to you. - The working environment is friendly, people readily provide advice when asked for it. - The company cares about its employees - the work environment is modern, clean and ergonomic. - I got to choose my own hardware and tools for the job. - There's a high level of transparency, which I have not encountered before. The company's technical and business goals are regularly presented to all employees, everybody knows where the ship is headed. - Colleagues and management are reasonable and rational people - ideas are discussed and evaluated on their own merit. - This is not a company inherited from rich parents and ran by clueless people; management cares about the product and knows what they're doing. - There is plenty of freedom when it comes to choosing how to approach a problem, therefore there is always room for a personal touch. - Communication flows in the company are clear, it is easy to get the attention of a C-level executive if that is needed for the task at hand, and they are very responsive. - There are no attempts to micromanage the way I tie my shoes. Overall, since joining arculus, I raised the quality bar for my own output, not under someone's pressure, but because the work environment fosters such an attitude. p.s. this feedback applies to my own experience in a specific team in the company, "your mileage may vary".
