Pros

The company has an ambitious vision and some talented individuals who genuinely believe in the product. Employees are given significant responsibility and exposure to a wide range of business functions. The work can be fast-paced and there are opportunities to learn if you are prepared to work independently.

Cons

Leadership lacks the structure, experience, and operational discipline required to effectively scale a company. Decision-making is often inconsistent, priorities change frequently, and there appears to be favoritism toward certain employees. The culture can feel political, with reports of bullying, gossip, and unhealthy internal dynamics. Many experienced and capable employees have left, either voluntarily or after becoming frustrated with the environment. Expectations around working hours can be excessive, with long days and weekends becoming the norm. Employees are often encouraged to believe they are on the path to extraordinary financial success, but the reality does not always align with the messaging. Communication, transparency, accountability, and professional management practices require significant improvement.

Pros

Ownership: You have the freedom to take ownership of projects, experiment with tech, and pitch ideas. Compensation: On paper, the compensation offered is above the market standards. Perks: Free daily lunch provided.

Cons

Financial Instability: Despite the high compensation on paper, payroll has been highly inconsistent. In my experience, salaries were sometimes delayed for extended periods (>3 months) with minimal communication. Directionless Leadership: The executive strategy frequently changes based on external opinions rather than a clear, long-term business plan. There seems to be a disconnect between generating ideas and actual execution. Overstated Technology: The research and development around their core AI products is heavily exaggerated. The technical execution is basic and is just random number generation. Engineering Leadership : There is a noticeable lack of effective technical leadership and management within the engineering department. High Turnover & Favoritism: The turnover rate is exceptionally high for a team this size. Performance standards feel inconsistently applied across the team. Rigid Culture: There is zero flexibility for remote work. The expectation is strictly 9 AM to 6 PM in the office, with an unspoken expectation to continue working after hours. Taking earned PTO is highly discouraged.
