An innovative company that truly believes in their products. Because of the industry sector, they can only go onto bigger and better things. A great wealth of experience and knowledge from longer serving members of staff who are generally happy to help and advise. Happy to invest in the future of the business adapting to changing market conditions and trends and allow staff to develop.
Cons
The management style can sometimes feel like stepping back to the 1970's particularly in the manufacturing / operations side of the business and senior management are not the most approachable in fear of getting your head bitten off at times. There is very little in the way of communication between senior management and the other employees. Business updates and letting employees know things such as opportunities in the market and future development projects can go a long way, particularly updates from the CEO. In the time I was there, I never saw him address the staff once other than the odd email. Salary and benefits could be substantially improved and brought more inline with other manufacturing companies, although this could have improved since I was there. There was also no HR department during my time which can make things difficult, which was a first for me! again, this may have changed since my time there.
