The only good part was working with a young, energetic team — the office vibe seemed lively at first and felt like it could be a place to grow. But that’s where it ends...only senior management is valued and gets all the benefits..

Cons

Not a good place to work. Very very low salary, and even 1 leave needs too much explanation. Lots of favoritism — hardworking people get ignored while others get promotions and hikes. No growth, no proper raise, no change in role. HR is rude and unprofessional. Strict timings — if you stand before 7 PM, they’ll make a scene for 2–3 minutes. Manager calls sharp at 10:01 AM daily. Only a few good people around, rest don’t care.

- Feedback on being a loved leader is based on what level of sycophant you are. Basically a yes man/yes person to the founder. - Founder: who goes into a beach* fit every month will say the most disturbing things at the top of her voice and will then ask you to be a loved and respected leader like her. - Hypocrisy is of the highest order - Toxicity of burning people out and making them work on weekends is rolled out as a song of praise and when they call in sick. Questions are asked: why do people take so many sick leaves?! - They have lost the plot. Overbearing an entire function with sole responsibility of owning the outcome while rest supporting functions putting bare minimum substandard effort and producing error prone work. - Typical lala mentality of extracting the last drop out of you irrespective of the fact if you’ve called in sick or are OOO due to prior commitment. - Three red flags: no appreciation (you can give your 100% and still they will want more), micromanaging to the very core of every small deliverable, changing ownership/ no fixed parameters of evaluation. - The difference between mcdonalds and zyla is that they have one clown as a brand ambassador and we have a set of multiple clowns (leadership) running the company :)

Respect for personal time and well-being: It is not a common practice at Zyla to reach out to employees during planned/sick leave. Exceptions are extremely rare and generally limited to business-critical situations. As an organization, we value work-life balance. 3. Growth and career opportunities: Several team members have grown organically and spent 5–7 years or more building their careers at Zyla. Equally, We strive to ensure that employees who join at any stage are provided with the same opportunities to grow and excel. Career progression is not determined by tenure alone but by the intent, ownership, effort demonstrated by individuals. 4. Recognition and appreciation: We understand that appreciation can be perceived differently by different individuals. We conduct quarterly shout-outs to acknowledge achievements. Additionally, our annual awards recognize contributions through categories such as Best Performer of the Year, Best Hire of the Year, Culture Champion and more. We still remain committed to fostering a culture that balances high performance with empathy, recognition, accountability and continuous growth.
