Onboarding: No official onboarding process. They just give you material to read and questions are not even entertained during your onboarding process. You are not introduced properly in the organization after your complete your onboarding process and will be handed already directly to your team. This later on makes it difficult to know who should you contact within departments if you have questions. Work/Life Balance: You are expected to work on issues during holidays WITHOUT FAIR PAY. So expect a lot of urgent issues during these days, given that quality of output is overlooked a lot from this organization. It is also taken negatively to you if you are unable to provide support during holidays. Can’t you just let your people take a day or two off from your horrible management? Management does not care if you will need to work longer hours just to deliver your work on time. They will keep guilt tripping you that the project will be delayed which ends up eating your mentality. Management: Management is on a downwards spiral as soon as that new CTO guy came into picture. He started removing competent people left and right as soon as he took position just because his beliefs does not align with competent people in the organization. He only believes in his own ideas and does not care at all.. This new CTO is is a heartless, soulless figure who only takes pride in his thoughts that are “not even good enough”. This CTO does not even stay for more than 3-4 years in organizations proving that he is not worth what he think he is. He’s just going through organizations and ruining processes and company cultures that have been built throughout the years. I’m not even sure why the board of directors are supporting his poor decisions. Annual Performance and Increase: Expect that the first salary you will receive from this organization will be the last increase you will ever get. For the years that I’ve been with the organization, my performance has been always more than 100% of what is expected. But this will not translate to your annual score and will only show as “meets expectation” thus not giving you the chance to receive an increase and promotion. Off-boarding: Resignation is not even handled properly in this company. There are no exit interviews nor empathy for people leaving the organization. They will just give you a online form that you will fill out stating why you left. Talk about lack of empathy and humanity. After that, a number of people will need to approve your clearance which takes ages to complete. Even if you send them an email, no one will reply to your emails. No one cares about the quality of process in this organization. They will approve only when they feel like it. Expect already that your backpay will take more than months to be processed. In summary, spare your time and skills if you value yourself as an individual and do not bother applying for this organization. I have been with several organizations already and it was a waste of my career years. Put your value in management that will support you and your career aspirations
