You can work from home, no micromanagement, excellent low cost product to sell on behalf of the local and small business owner.
Cons
Straight commission, no base salary, they give you little media based information. Being in advertising most of my career this is a numbers driven business. Most companies live by Nielson. Zoom has minimum knowledge of this concept. They read the percentages and call also think it's valid. Not the case when you live in a market that's heavy Nielson rated. They (ad agencies, business owners that are savvy) want to know what makes this particular demographic someone they should market to. When posed with a question that's heavy media related. I was personally told by my supervisor that particular business owner was "not a great fit" you don't say that you find ways to earn that business relationship. At the end of day there are no business relationships to obtain only money to be taken.
