      Pros

      Zoom was built from an engineer perspective, has some of the fastest innovation possible, and has some super strong people running it.

      Cons

      No advancement opportunities if you are technical. If you want to move into middle management from the technical side that is your only hope. They don’t have the jobs, and treat technical resources as “replaceable”, and that experience and ability do not matter.

      Nothing about this company is worth noting.

      Cons

      One of the worst companies I have worked at. Management and leadership are disorganized and unsupportive. Employees get treated like dogs and are talked down to. No work life balance because everything is an escalation or because some “head” requested something. For a company so well regarded, they sure know to how be cheap and take away benefits. Parental leave is basically a slap you in the face. Comp is high but expect to have that dangled in your face or else you get let go. On site lunch and breakfast is nice but how much can you sugar coat the terrible work conditions with little snacks? Everything is such a mess. I’ve been here for almost 7 months and have not met a single person that enjoys their job. DO NOT JOIN ZOOM!
