Pros
working remotely, generally the flexibility of the role, having great colleagues and managers
Cons
as the company is becoming larger and more corporate everyone feels more and more alienated. there is an ongoing issue with paying the freelance translators that lasted years - which even internally, the higher ups minimize making it seem not as bad, and try to gaslight everyone into thinking all will be ok. the industry in general is going in a different direction but this is not the problem with this company. the real problem is how toxic it has become and how it exploits freelancers and in-house staff, making everyone work for less than they deserve, not having a pay review in years (and actually having gone through multiple rounds of redundancies instead), and not offering job security for the in-house staff as well as payment security for freelancers while taking advantage of the job market being generally not the best. And don't even get me started on the difference between male and female workers as well as the differences in job ethics between all the different offices around the world.
