Pros

literally nothing, it was a horrible place to work

Cons

Constant chaos, zero organization, constantly multitasking. Also the job title was inaccurate I was basically a call center employee and very little of my job had to do with ~doing~ SEO. Most of the benefits that are listed are basic that they are legally required to provide, it's not generous whatsoever. The company engages in unethical practices with their clients just to keep their money for one more month. Also, all these Glassdoor reviews that are positive are fake, a couple of years ago they had like a 1.7 total rating, they can't have changed that drastically within 2 years. Also, I was paid like $12 an hour. Come on.

Pros

I've worked for Zoek for several years in many departments. I have always found management easy to get along with and willing to listen to concerns. They have also been flexible with schedules and willing to give me time off when asked.

Cons

No cons come to mind at this time.

Pros

100% remote, Very flexible and could reasonably set on schedule within certain timeframes. Would be really enjoyable and easy work with the right type of structure. Mid-level management was very helpful and respectful.

Cons

Disorganization: This is absolutely one of the most disorganized organizations I have ever seen that goes well beyond growing pains. The training process was abysmal (often spent 6 1/2 hours of the day on Zoom in 3 hour periods just listening followed by completing outdated training). I learned more in the first 6 hours speaking to customers than I did the entirety of the first few weeks. There is a complete lack of SOP documents, process flows, and easy-to-follow learning materials. The few documents they had were really difficult to follow flow charts that weren't fully accurate. Poor Communication and product quality: There is a significant disconnect between all departments at a concerning level. This very much impacts the customer experience and shows on their Google reviews when subpar products and campaigns are being created for customers. Tech Stack: They have a ton of tech stack tools that would be nice in the correct application, but are completely illogical for the actual product and processes they have. It is the epitome of making a simple process 100x more difficult. This was the most challenging part of the role, and half of the people (including senior management) were unable to explain each process correctly. Lack of Culture: Department calls were very challenging to attend. A lack of structure and were often commandeered by 1-2 people speaking constantly and the remaining individuals seemed miserable. It was like attending a funeral.
