Pros

Many well thought out employee benefits like team wide days off and wellness budgets and of course discount on ZOE

Cons

Leadership at this company has serious issues, including a lack of emotional intelligence and insufficient focus on the needs of employees. Several leaders appear driven by ego and are unable to empower their teams, instead resorting to controlling and micromanaging both product and operations. Decisions are often made behind closed doors, with little transparency, creating a culture where much feels designed to set employees up to fail if they are not favoured. Multiple reorganisations have taken place, but they rarely address the core issues or the people responsible for them. While I was not personally impacted by these changes, the decline in team commitment and passion is evident. Many managers lack experience and do not know how to motivate, develop, or meaningfully connect with their teams, which creates a demoralising work environment that stifles growth. there is a pervasive sense of unfairness in how people are rewarded, evaluated, etc There is an enormous amount of bureaucracy and policies. Staff are not treated like adults, nor are they given genuine opportunities to grow and thrive. Overall, the company culture is weakening as leadership fails to support or develop its employees and fails to be fair to people. I cannot recommend this company as a place to work.

Pros

A true sense of community and team culture. They are working to bridge the gaps of a remote-first company with social and growth budgets to help you grow as an employee.

Cons

The company grew too fast to safeguard its team, despite preaching about caring for them. Promotion and compensation changes were inflexible, hindering cohesive growth opportunities for the team.
