Pros
I've been at Ziptech Services over 7 years, and it's still very much a team atmosphere, despite the head count has increased in recent years.
Everyone still knows everyone else, and they throw the occasional company fun event, but there's also the odd cheeky pint on lunch or after work!
They've been very supportive at helping me to study and pass exams, giving me regular dedicated time to train to improve my soft and also technical skills.
This has no doubt contributed to helping me progress to my current position.
I'd also say I've quite appreciated that everyone is aware of the company vision and direction and gets to be involved with the high level conversations. The CEO gets everyone in the company 'around the table' on a regular basis, and you can share your feedback, ideas, or even frustrations.
Cons
There aren't many. I'm expected to work on my own initiative and keep on top of my diary, even when things get thick and heavy going, or during difficult problems, but that's more a challenge presented by being in IT support than anything else.
