Pros

- Perfect company for self-starters who are passionate about what they do and willing to take ownership of tasks; you'll work hard but will learn a TON and have opportunities to grow in your career as well as directly help the company grow - Environment is energetic and never boring, maintaining a healthy work/life balance is encouraged and it never feels like a pressure cooker - Nice blend of autonomy and teamwork, inclusive vibe where all members of the team are encouraged to ask questions and share feedback about any aspect of the business - Team operates under a lean startup philosophy, we continuously experiment with new processes or communication systems, as well as identify and avoid unnecessary processes - Team members are approachable, positive, and willing to share their knowledge; meetings are kept short and to the point with most communication left ad hoc - Nice office with many lunch options within walking distance as well as company-sponsored lunches on Fridays when we get to show off everything we worked on during the week

Cons

- Because of the small team, everyone wears multiple hats and are responsible for juggling many priorities; you also won't find as much structure as you might with larger organization - Team members are expected to be in the office early (8AM) everyday for a quick sync-up - outside of this, hours and time off are flexible

Pros

- Tons of room for growth if you're a good fit - Great learning/mentorship opportunities: I came into ZipfWorks with little-to-no experience in marketing, and have learned everything from content marketing and SEO to influencer marketing and even PR — as well as tech knowledge I didn't have before. Again, if you're open to it, you can really grow here. - Extremely intelligent coworkers/management - Feeling of importance: even as a new hire, you'll get asked your opinion on things like product designs, processes, etc. - Small team (some might see this as a con, I enjoy the small team) - Agile team, so you won't get bored doing the same thing for long - Excellent perks/benefits like unlimited PTO, no feeling of dread when having to ask off for doctor's appts. - Team lunches on Friday, snacks, coffee, & breakfast in-office

Cons

- I came from a very social work environment (probably too social) and I do miss workplace gossip at times. That being said, when everyone takes their headphones off, highly intelligent convos ensue. - If you haven't yet (as I hadn't), you'll have to learn how to manage your priorities in the office so you're not taking your work home with you.

Pros

• Awesome team • Catered lunch on Friday • Amazing Benefits, office building, and facilities • Creative freedom and positive environment • Relaxed dress • Competative salary • Work time flexibility (for daily starting and ending hrs) • Minimal communication when not in office/on vacation/sick day/weekends👌🏽 • But great communication in office • You can take personal calls within reason • Healthy snacks which is a huge pro compared to mopst offices with chips and soda

Cons

The team is predominently men, this is neither intentional or a goal of the company and is purely coincedental, but as a female I did notice this. This is more personal preference than a con.
