Pros

Decent place for a new, out of state engineer looking to get closer to SV. Work/life balance is decent. As someone else mentioned below, feel free to mail it in at any point. Realogy's deep pockets allow for ample 3rd party engineering support.

Cons

Summary: The acquisition has settled in Emeryville and the days of Zip being an industry innovator are long gone. They are now just a pawn to maximize Realogy's bottom line. Zip's sole purpose is to deliver their older, out dated platform and websites to all franchisees. All hands are on deck for roll-out, which leaves nothing for R&D. Comp: The compensation packages are comical. Poor base salaries, few fringe benefits, and minimal group outings. I encourage you to review market rates in SF and the Peninsula. Don't let the desperation cloud your judgement! If you must: Only entertain positions in business products, consumer, and design. ALL of the other teams are undervalued, poorly supported, have low morale, and a high turnover rate. There are simply too many great companies to work for in the area to settle for this.

Pros

Great Managing Broker that cared and wanted you to succeed. Great mentor and coaching. The other agents were such good people. The best CRM I've used and a steady stream of leads

Cons

Coldwell Banker absorbed them because they wanted the CRM software. That demolished our office and ruined everything that was a pro reason
