Pros
Working with Congolese staff has been full of surprises and joy. They’re, most of them, generally open about their feelings and tend to respect others. I enjoy chatting with them about everything — from work and daily life to the political situation.
Cons
Collaborating with the Chinese staff can be a demanding experience, as it sometimes means dealing with the streetwise behaviour and whims of the least educated, who are often skilled at flattering those higher up. In such an environment, this can matter far more than fulfilling one’s own responsibilities or taking initiatives to improve performance.
