Fairly chaotic and immature organisation with few processes in place, leading each team to invent their own wheels since there’s almost no company wide standards or reusable components available; top management is frantic and short-sighted and keeps moving the goalposts. Every few months there’s a new urgent fire coming from the top and a subsequent reworking of all priorities and plans. Feels like tech is always putting out fires or chasing sales rather than working on the roadmap or fixing the deep structural problems.
