Not many. It’s an easy going job.

I don’t understand the negative reviews. I’ve had a really positive experience with Zergnet, and the editors have worked tooth and nail to make me a better writer and write articles that, yes, have clicky headlines, but are filled with smart, fun, interesting content. It is NOT clickbait and is held to the same editorial standards I’ve worked with at other major publications - if not stricter standards. I make the same amount of money as what I’ve made as a staff writer in my previous jobs, so I don’t understand how it’s “chump change” unless you're a very, very slow writer as it’s paid per word like most freelance gigs and not hourly. There are incentives to do different work and you can get promoted. I’ve actually felt very valued here, especially as the company expands.

It’s a little isolating working from home constantly. I wish I could chat with my editors more just because I’m always holed up at home or a coffee shop writing alone, but I suppose if I slacked them, they would absolutely answer right away. It’s just not a frequently done thing unless you’ve got a specific question.
