Pros

Zepp has a nice office with fully stocked kitchen and free lunch everyday. Great coworkers and felt welcome here. Nice perks with in-house swing cage and golf simulator.

Cons

Plenty of issues with the investors. Not transparent. Accounting dept is a nightmare. The new CEO changed the overall company culture. Nice guy, smart but not sure if has the quality to bring the company to the next level. Engineering team is not in-house, causing communication challenge.

Pros

Everyone I spoke with during the interview process—from product to design—was incredibly kind, thoughtful, and knowledgeable. The team seemed passionate about the work and genuinely collaborative. Conversations gave the impression of a smart, capable group solving meaningful problems.

Cons

The interview process was disorganized with no transparency, with unexpected additional rounds even after I was verbally told I had the offer. The recruiter emphasized urgency to accept, citing other candidates they are considering, which created unnecessary pressure. The initial offer was average for the Bay Area and lacked equity or sign-on bonus. After I shared context on local market rates, we agreed to a minor increase ($3K above the original base), with no additional stocks or sign on bonus. The recruiter said she would take my counter to leadership, then ghosted me for a week. I had to follow up to learn that leadership rejected the offer. Shortly after, I saw the same job reposted, raising concerns about transparency and the company’s hiring intent since this is a company based in China please be careful what you are sharing during interviews.
