Pros

Aren’t many unfortunately- Work from home.

Cons

Management or lack of in my opinion. This is the most toxic, worst place to currently work. Two rounds of redundancies have meant teams are severely understaffed and employees overworked. Both founders seem to hide when the going gets tough and get their mouthpieces to front all comms during tough times. The company is being run worse than a circus act, with no sense of direction or leadership. Management show no empathy and we are constantly told to just get on with it when clearly struggling. Continue to promote their favourites into unnecessary positions within the organisation, all the whilst desk level employees are either laid off or worked to the bone. My advice would be to avoid the company like the plague! This company will not be around much longer and will sink quicker than the titanic! Hiring is a joke, c level members are all inadequate and VPs not worthy of their title nor package. Throw money away on reimbursement to customers or leasing offices that aren’t fit for purpose. AVOID! AVOID! AVOID!

Pros

The leadership team is genuinely invested in where the company is heading, and that filters down. You get real ownership of your work here, not the performative kind where someone hands you a task and calls it autonomy. The problems are interesting, the product sits in a space where there's actual room to build something meaningful, and the people are sharp. Cross functional collaboration is strong when it works, and it works more often than not. If you want to be close to decisions that matter, this is a good place to be.

Cons

It's a company that's still figuring out some of its internal rhythms. Priorities can shift, and sometimes the communication around those shifts doesn't land as cleanly as it should. There are moments where the pace of ambition outstrips the processes designed to support it, which can be frustrating. Not unique to Zencargo, but worth knowing if you're coming from somewhere more established. The company is aware of it and working on it, which counts for something.
