      Pros

      - great people (excluding the leadership)

      Cons

      - toxic work environment where people get promoted based on personal likings and not performance. - the leadership team does not know how to manage actual humans. - little to no flexibility in terms of wfh, this is also not universal across teams with some teams not being able to wfh at all. - Zen is extremely stingy and would rather sell their own kidneys than pay you more money so good luck getting a pay rise after some time - career development is always written big and there is a lot of talk about career progression but the reality is that there is no career progression for many employees, even if you are good and work your butt off. - to anyone reading this and considering working there, PLEASE don't, you can save yourself a massive headache. - God help you if you ever have a different opinion and dare to voice that - they HATE people who think for themselves and have different opinions and views - Zen looks great from the outside, but I have seen the inside and I am so happy to have made it out of there.

For those reading at home, we'd like to clarify: 1. We have an annual salary review process, where we offer meaningful salary progression based on performance. 2. We have a clear set of career pathways and progression frameworks where individuals can work closely with their line manager to progress in their career. In fact, the vast majority of our people leaders and senior management have been promoted from within. 3. We ACTIVELY encourage vocalising different opinions.       Pros

      It is incredible to work with a company where the employees genuinely care so deeply for the educators, schools, and children. It is clear that every decision Zen makes is made with the intent to better the education system. I am so excited and thankful to make a difference and have an opportunity to work directly with schools and educators in my community.

      Cons

      Zen is growing rapidly. With lots of new employees I am hoping there are still ample opportunities for growth within the company and internal promotions remain priority.

      Pros

      Amazing staff- Mia is the best! lots of offers for job in lots of different areas. They are very understanding and can work with your schedule and always do their best to answer any questions you have.

      Cons

      They do not have great communication between the schools and the company's. When I showed up for my first day as a 1 on 1, the school didn't even know that I was coming or who I was there for, Zen also didn't have information about the student for me.
