Pros

This company started as great but has become one of the worst in all aspects. Few pros I can note down are: *Flexible timing usually. *Free snacks in the pantry.

Cons

*Poor management. They are uncertain of their own goals. *Unqualified managers. One of them was so bad and cultureless that he preferred good looking women over hard workers. *Poor HR department and policies. Nothing is standardised and everything is uncertain according to the HR folks. *Comapny comes up with innovative ways like bonuses and on-site opportunities that comes with a price - forcing the employee to continue another 6-12 months there; especially in case of disgruntled employees. *Salary appraisals that are supposed to occur in April usually comes in August and that too without any arrear payment. *You are judged based on your gender, relationship with the manager and level of sticking up to the manager rather than your talent, potential or hardwork or results. *Work horses will always be work horses here. People who hardly do any work get more salary, incentives and promotions. *Three months notice period. Once you put in your resignation you are treated even worse by the HR folks. *Comapny often tries to milk its employees in terms of work and payments. *24x7 on-call programs in support with no regard to work life balance.

Pros

1) Work-life balance. 2) Complete remote work opportunity. 3) You get a lot of personal time. 4) Competitive pay - above USA market standards.

Cons

A place of "know-it-alls" with nobody willing to learn and collaborate. No new employee sticks around in this company, (check attrition rate), the ones who have remained are the reason this company is not worth joining. The senior leadership is clueless about how to run a business or respect employee contribution. There are constant changes at the senior management level and therefore you are asked to report to different people with different KPIs. They have stopped innovating on the product, therefore, expect customers to move to competitors. HR does nothing to boost employee confidence or reduce employee attrition.
