Decent opportunities but lower pay than other companies within the same industry - Combo Pipe Welder Zachry Group Employee Review

The pay is lower than other comparable companies within the oil,energy and gas service industry. Depending on your craft there may or may not be any room to move up. As many employees in this industry are aware the organizational culture varies greatly from site to site depending on management and in my case QC. They determine the type of environment the site will have. Sometimes it is very pleasant but as you move to other projects(sites) it can be very cut-throat, unfriendly and based primarily on achieving the most output from welders and pipe fitters.
