Pros
Ability to make $90,000 annually if you can handle the overtime, but 55 hrs per week avg. is mandatory and there seems to be no maximum.
Cons
Work / life balance is horrible. too much work for too few people, and total package is too undesirable to get qualified maintenance mechanics to accept the position. Plenty of money to pretty up the plant, pay for salaried lunches, and hire outside contractors at a premium, but no money for parts to keep machines running, or to keep and hire good, qualified mechanics. HR is a joke, and upper management is destructive and blind.
