Cons
- Even the "fun" stuff they give in lieu of livable wages isn't paid attention to. I.E. basketball hoop falling apart and flat-tired bikes - Nearly everyone I knew there, myself included, made more at their part time job in college than they make at Zefr. - Wasn't given an evaluation / raise offer until I informed them I was leaving despite promise of a 6 month evaluation. - Entry level employees do mundane, mindless work that can and will be replaced by computer programs Zefr themselves are building - Isolated caste system / dysfunctional hierarchy - Double standards for employees based on the nature of their job in more respects than the expected pay difference. The employees who get paid more get more free work comforts, such as coffee, while the indentured servants of the warehouse are forced to spend half an hour's pay on a cup of coffee to keep them sane during their mind-numbing daily duties. - One CEO was involved in a scandal because of his strong religious opposition to gay marriage (not a good look with 200+ creatives on your team) and the other posted a video to youtube bragging about how he gets away with paying his employees dirt because they can work at Zefr or "work at Starbucks or 711." Stay classy.
