Pros
Where do I begin? When I first read the reviews I was skeptical. I didn't think it was possible to rank so high on Glassdoor. I then pursued a position at Yummly and couldn't be happier to be a part such a unique family. It is very rare and difficult to find a workplace where your views and hard work are appreciated. I am yet to meet anyone that does not extend a helping hand. The 'No Jerk Policy' is really a thing, so jerks/narcissists/know it alls, need not apply. Management respects feedback and they do everything in their power to ensure that the teams' needs are met. Compensation is competitive, while the 401K plan is one of the best I've ever come across. As a subsidiary of Whirlpool, deep discounts are offered on appliances from the family of brands including KitchenAid and Jenn-Air. Work life balance is truly a thing here. I could seriously keep going!
Cons
Like with many small companies, there may be times when you need to step up and handle tasks that may not fall under your job description. I honestly don't even see this is a con, as it gives me a chance to learn other skills.
