Pros
Two stars mainly for the fact that over my tenure I worked with some incredible, high performing and talented individuals - it was truly the people in my team that made the difference in a remote environment. The benefits package on offer is good, and the ability to work from anywhere remotely makes it easier for those with other commitments. A nice, fun product to work on with interesting challenges.
Cons
A severe lack of work-life balance, leading to a lot of good people burning out - mostly due to the ever changing waves that the SLT is trying to steer through. Very little actual progression opportunities and a lack of a clear path for the majority of employees. Being fully remote and then having an office that people in London can get into regularly can lead to those fully remote feeling left of out decision making and process at times. Constantly told about company values and yet you consistently see the SLT not leading by them. Product proposition constantly changing - lack of real direction or knowing where they actually sit in the market compared to competitors. Producing good work and building exciting things didn't always equate to being valued or seen by SLT as to the value you added to the company.
