Pros
This organization says on its website that it values making a difference, being a positive impact in kids lives. And from the outside, it does that.
Cons
Poor management: Managers do not listen to feedback and cannot accept suggestions for change. They do not support the team in relationship building or stand up for what is right in the workplace.
Turnover: In the last 16-18 months, the organization has lost over 11 employees, 2 of which were in executive level positions. Even for a nonprofit, that is high.
Workload: With the number of staff leaving they have not tried to re balance the workload for the remaining members. It continues to be, do more with less and they do not care.
People could come and go as they please, often creating a culture where you see employees at all levels being treated differently and managers not caring. Why hold yourself to a standard when no one else is?
