Pros

Except the fact I had the chance to excercise some of my hard skills, I do not find other pros.

Cons

If you want to burn-out, this place is for you! - The culture of the company is very toxic and miserable. Full of micromanagement and generally people that do not have the bare minimum of social skills. No space for initiative. - The role is underpaid, there is no bonus & no extra perks. - No work-life balance since you work for 9-9.5 hours the day. - No hybrid-remote working model, they want you to come everyday to the office to micromanage you as much as they can. - Inappropriate equipment, broken chairs and broken down pcs. - No career development and pay rise opportunities. - Too many "bonding" activities that take place only in your personal free time and never during worktime. If you do not join them, they spam you constantly and there was always a passive-agressive mood.

YourHero Response

Thanks for taking the time to share this feedback with us. We are very sorry to hear about your experience while working at YourHero. We value all of our current and former employees' feedback, it helps us make YourHero a better company for everyone! In YourHero we base our success on our strong culture and our great product, but sometimes we might get it wrong. In terms of getting some facts straight though, it is important to mention that the number of people who grow their career in YourHero is super impressive and the list is long. We always prioritise growth from within and at least 60% of people holding a manager position in the company right now, have started in lower-level positions or as interns. We are sorry if you didn't get a chance to grow your career in YourHero and we acknowledge that there were some issues with your direct manager that may have affected your overall career trajectory in YourHero. Perks & benefits such as private insurance, online courses & seminars reimbursement, yearly budget for YourHero services and fresh fruits and snacks at our offices, are offered to all our employees, and were also offered during your time with us. We are constantly trying to find ways to decrease the stress associated with the job and over the past months there have been some changes that bring us to the right direction. For example the hybrid-remote working model is offered to all employees after the Covid era. According to our engagement survey results, most employees enjoy the frequency of our employee activities which we always try to do during work time when the type of activities permit it. Following feedback we have received from our team members, participation in activities is optional. That being said, doesn’t mean that there is no room for improvement. Although we do feel slightly disappointed because some of these issues were not highlighted during your exit interview, we would be happy to learn more about your perspective. If you’d like to continue the conversation, feel free to contact me directly at jasmine@douleutaras.com to discuss anytime. Best of luck in your career!
