Pros
Making videos and then being offered monetization on your account was great, there was no effort involved as it wasn't a goal to be a personal job. It was offered to me based upon the success of my existing videos.
Cons
Very small amounts of communication between the sponsors and YouTube to you, and very heavily based on audience size and how much they watch. This is a very unstable form of income.
