Pros
I've been working here for a few years now and found it to be a great work environment. It's professional, but in a casual startup sort of way. Managers act more like resources for employees than the other way around, supporting the employees in owning their projects and doing what's necessary to get them done. Almost everyone I've worked with is not only knowledgeable but also happy to explain things. At the same time, it's fast pace and agile (not a good place for those who need their hand held or wait around for things to happen). I've learned a lot being here and there are always opportunities to learn more. The pay is competitive and the annual bonuses very generous. Did I mention the awesome views of the bay and the harbor side walking path?
Cons
As a small company, there are not a great deal of opportunities to be promoted into other positions or departments. Also, although we're just a few minutes drive from downtown Brisbane or South San Francisco, we're only walking distance from a cafe and daily gourmet food trucks.
