Pros
This is a really good starting position for those who recently graduated with a science degree, but only for a year or so. Most of the people you work with will be incredible and you will learn a lot. As long as someone is willing to teach, there is always something new to learn.
Cons
The lab itself is not properly set up for safety purposes which has caused serious and life-threatening accidents. Most workers are overworked, underpaid, and given little to no respect. Management sweeps stuff under the rug and ignores complaints. Analysts that show hard work and determination are not rewarded, and analysts who slack off and do nothing are rewarded. Some analysts throw temper tantrums and purposely go out of their way to negatively affect other analysts work. Instrumentation is outdated and asking to get maintenance was like pulling teeth.
