      Pros

      co-workers are great and so are the patrons.

      Cons

      Managers and admin are behind the times, ineffective, unhelpful and a few of the managers are bullies. The lack of support for staff is astounding and admin turns a blind eye to bad managers.

      Pros

      Good entry-level job to get experience. Hard-working, dedicated, and friendly coworkers.

      Cons

      Hostile management in many departments, branches. Low pay. HR ignores complaints about workplace harassment. Adult services has a lot of patron issues: noise, aggressive behavior, aromas, and even criminal behavior. The library system allowed a pro-censorship board to create dystopian collection development policies.
