Pros
The work schedule / working hours are pretty flexible and non-demanding. As long as you are getting your work done, you can set your own hours - within reason. And you can easily take time off during the day to run errands, go on interviews (wink, wink), etc. And the overall environment is fairly laid-back. Work is not too demanding, so if you want (or if that's your thing), you can easily coast along.
Perhaps the best reason is that the people are generally nice. But watch out! They change after they have been at the company for a while... (see below)
Cons
1) The environment is highly political/politicized
2) Management invests $0 in employees' career growth
3) Lacks brand cachet and does not pay well
