Pros

Remote roles in a niche industry. Opportunity to brown nose people who inflate their titles and take advantage of those who are looking to get their careers started.

Cons

If you are a person of color considering joining this company, I would advise proceeding with caution. There seems to be a significant lack of diversity in leadership roles, and opportunities for advancement may be limited. The founder has a clear preference for contractors from Ukraine, particularly women, which could create an unbalanced work environment for others. Additionally, the company conducts annual layoffs that feel impersonal and abrupt. Employees are often given only a few minutes to transfer their responsibilities, with little time to properly say goodbye to colleagues. These layoffs seem to be a strategy to maintain the company's finances rather than a reflection of employee performance, and often result in newer employees bearing the brunt of the instability. I would strongly encourage anyone considering a role here to carefully assess the company's culture and long-term stability before committing.
