Lukewarm Experience - Anonymous employee Yazaki Employee Review

Working on a team at a supplier company that almost directly reports to the automotive OEM gives the OEM program managers a lot of power over supplier employees. Additionally, it meant that all of my work required a lot of scrutiny to ensure it was meeting standards. In the specific role (Design Release Engineer), I felt like I was doing mostly negotiation and paperwork, and not very much actual designing or engineering. I felt like I was not gaining any worthwhile experience nor did I see any career growth path that I desired.
