Pros

They have identified a gap in the market

Cons

The owner who you will meet upon entering the business is an awful person to work for. He is just looking to fund raise as much money as possible and that’s it. Thinks the only way to build a business is by throwing money at it rather than looking at the talent in his employees and building from here. The turnover of staff is huge and the only ones that have been there a while are the ones brainwashed into believing they will be looked after eventually/

Pros

Great company culture Adaptable to change Senior management listens to employees and acts on it (when it feels it is the right decision) Team culture Flexible remote working

Cons

Forward-thinking company in a backwards industry Don't handle difficult conversations very well, maybe due to no HR department

Pros

Great level of trust and autonomy — you’re encouraged to own your work and take initiative Friendly, supportive team with a “get stuck in” attitude Fast-paced environment where no two days are the same Ideas are genuinely listened to, and you can make a real impact quickly Strong focus on solving problems and improving how things are done Opportunities to grow and learn across different parts of the business

Cons

Because the business is growing quickly, some processes are still being figured out or built as you go. That can be challenging at times, especially if you’re used to very structured environments — but it also means there’s plenty of opportunity to shape how things are done.
