Pros

Yapster has all the key components of a great company - positive atmosphere, a close-knit team, opportunities for personal development and a strong leadership team that is always approachable.

Cons

Small growing pains from being a start-up to a scale-up but nothing the teams couldn’t manage.

Pros

Awesome people to work around. The CEO (Rob Liddiard) is an insperation to me. He's the reason i joined the company. The best bit about him? he'll be the first person to tell you that he is not perfect. Any advice he gives to you he talks to you about, not tells you about. He builds a "lets learn together" mentality. Ever met someone and thought "man i've only known this person 5 minutes but i really like him". I very rarely meet people that have this impact on me. Everyone feels like that after meeting Rob. Without being his biggest fan, i'll just say that he is the perfect example if what Yapster is to me. It's a really amazing product, the best bit about it is that it's fantastic but if it isnt perfect for you, the devs will work every working hour to make the changes to make it as perfect as possible and then they'll keep working with you. Everyone in and out of the office has such a vibrant love for the product because they (now we - i recently joined) firmly believe it serves its customers amazingly and solves a lot of problems. If you're looking at this review because you aren't sure whether to take a job, dont think about it. Take it.

Cons

The company is currently in scale up mode, you can't sit back and cruise, if you don't love the product and have a vision where it is going to be then perhaps Yapster isn't for you. There are no employees at this company that slack off, if you were to cruise and not deliver, it would be noticable because of how transparant everyone is. The culture is very adaptable and everyone appears to have their querks and is allowed to be their own person. If you want a handmaids tale style working environment it's not that.
