Pros

Opportunity to work with large brands, and handle less of the day to day account management tasks.

Cons

Resistance to doing what's best for the client's business due to quarterly sales goals, depending on the sales person. Lack of career development outside of sales track, and outside of location focus which shifted depending on the latest ceo. It's modern day, good people can do good work anywhere. But good move in recent years with more competitive hiring overall. Company-leadership wise, not keeping the ultimate/primary focus on users and product at ALL times. Too many years of letting sales on quarterly goals (specific ad accounts) drive the business - created a downward spiral in search of quick revenue, loss of users, despite owning such a rich content asset.

Pros

Great pay ($400/day), great office perks (weekly catered lunches)

Cons

Long hours (typically 10 hour days), higher up management is chaotic and disorganized, guidance is often changing, essentially no growth opportunities, contract structure makes a high turnover rate.
