The insurance at YRC is not free. It is part of a negotiated contract through the Teamster's Union When you take into consideration the benefit package that is part of the negotiated contract it is better than other freight companies. There is a lot of experience that can be came from working
Cons
Favoritism is widespread and can create a quite unfair atmosphere. YRC now allows family to work together which has resulted in a lot of husband wife or father son Arrangements that work together which is not the most healthy atmosphere. Nepotism is not always a good thing
