Pros
* Fully remote working for me, works very well. I have a young family and the flexibility this gives me with dropping and collecting children from nursery and school is so helpful. * The culture and climate at Yopa despite growth and change still feels very small and family like. The approach from the senior leadership team feels very collaborative and there is very little if any sense of hierarchy across the business. * Agile working is also a feature of life at Yopa. An idea can be formed on one Monday, proposed the next and underway the following week. I think this allows us to respond to market changes and threats extremely well and also keeps the pace of work and range of work exciting and engaging. I have worked at other companies where this was not the case and it made for very rigid and dare I say stale campaigns. * Support - as a company I feel Yopa does a good job of supporting staff, be it with training courses, flexible working requests, job satisfaction and wellbeing surveys etc.
Cons
* The flip side of remote working, means that without a fixed central location we can often miss out on the social side of office life, Friday drinks, team lunches, Christmas nights out are somewhat a thing of the past. * The statutory maternity package offered at Yopa, is also a real shame and something I hope the business with re-examine in the future to encourage more female talent to the business and also enable women currently working at Yopa a better opportunity to start or extend their family, if they so wish.
