Pros

You can learn great scamming tricks from Yash Mitra

Cons

I was hired to write SOP and help students with college admission instead, I was forced to do 1. Write a fake review on YM grad website 2. Detele all negative reviews 3. take students' money and send them plagiarised material 4. construct fake what's app pictures to post on the YM grad website Yash made it clear that we were hired to scam or steal from people as much as possible. I objected to this and got harassed by him. I ended up leaving after three months.

YMGrad Response

We’re genuinely saddened to read this review and feel compelled to address its claims transparently and respectfully. At YMGrad, we’ve built our reputation over years by supporting thousands of students with integrity, personalized guidance, and complete transparency. The accusations in this review are completely false, defamatory, and do not reflect our company culture, operations, or ethical standards in any way. We understand that people sometimes leave organizations with personal frustrations, and we empathize with the emotions behind this post. However, fabricating serious allegations like "scamming," "plagiarism," or "fake testimonials" — without a single piece of credible evidence — is harmful not just to our team, but to the thousands of students who rely on us for honest help. Can you clarify why other employees didn't quit their roles if that's what was going on? Which company's employees would tolerate a culture such as the one explained in your comment? And exactly how you were harassed? To be clear: We do not engage in plagiarism or fake documentation. Every student SOP or application essay is written with original content, often in collaboration with Ivy League graduates and professional writers. We do not delete or manipulate reviews. Our website includes both positive and critical feedback — we believe in continuous improvement. We never instruct or force employees to take unethical actions. Any such behavior would immediately result in termination. We invite the reviewer to share specific details, names, or proof that can substantiate these serious claims. If this was a genuine experience, we are open to an open conversation and correction. But if this is a false review, we humbly ask you to reconsider the review you've posted — attacking a company with fabricated statements not only damages livelihoods but also erodes trust in real feedback systems like Glassdoor. To prospective employees, students, and partners reading this: we encourage you to reach out, ask questions, or speak to current clients or team members. We have nothing to hide and are proud of the work we do every day.

Pros

I wrote content at YMGrad for about 12 months before I left recently. The best part was the culture to me. It's a family to me still, and I have friends from the office. The team is helpful and I learned a lot in terms of improving my writing. AI written content is usually detested, which forces us to write from scratch and improve our content on our own. The kind of essays we write decide the future of applicants, and its importance is made clear from the very first day. The only reason I am writing this review is because of my relationship with the company. I saw a fake review here about the management forcing people to scam and it did not sit right with me. After working here for a year, I can ascertain that: 1. No plagiarized content was ever approved by my senior. 2. We were never asked or even hinted to posting any fake reviews. 3. Students were genuinely happy when we helped them get to top universities. That doesn't sound like a scam to me, unlike one of the other reviews posted on this platform. I left only because I got a better offer, and trust me it was a hard decision.

Cons

The location was a bit out of reach for me, and I had to travel more than 1.5 hours per day. Apart from that, the pressure in the busy times of the year can be stressful. No other cons.
