Pros

XtendOps has been an incredible place to build a career. What started as an Agent role has genuinely evolved into a rewarding journey, first as a Team Lead, and now as an Associate Operations Manager. This trajectory speaks volumes about the equal opportunities here—the promotion path is clear and merit-based, and I’m especially proud of the strong representation and opportunities for women in leadership. The compensation is competitive and reliably good, reflecting the industry standard for the roles. However, the best aspect is the great culture. The leaders here are truly empathetic, fostering a supportive environment that prioritizes employee well-being. The Work From Home (WFH) privilege is fantastic, and I appreciate that this flexibility extends to managers as well, showing trust across all levels. I am continually seeing growth in my role and responsibilities, though I would characterize it as steady and sustainable rather than explosive, which suits me well.

Cons

The only significant challenge I face is entirely personal: I live about 30 minutes away from the office location. Given the traffic in Cebu City, it can take an hour or so to commute even when the distance is just 30 minutes. While this is manageable, the commute time is the only "con" I can name. It's certainly not enough to make me consider leaving, but it is a consistent point of friction when I do need to go into the office.

Pros

What makes XO different than most big corporations where you have to jump through hoops and red tape is that they genuinely care about building relationships, finding the best talent, innovation, and creativity. The company's values aligned with mine right off the bat, and they genuinely care about people and their growth. I've never known a CEO and operations team being so hands on, down to earth, and accessible. When challenges arise, management is always open to hearing feedback and making swift changes. There is always a positive outlook, and fun is welcomed!

Cons

On the other side of the same coin, not being a huge corporation means we are in a space of so much growth and exploration that we don't always have the exact systems in place to sustain it yet. You may have to wear many hats in your role. You often must live in the uncertainty and unknown as processes and new clients come on board and for some, this is not easy or ideal because they want a clear career path. But it means we get to be creative in figuring it out!
