Pros
It is a good way to learn some things about the machining industry, especially large power transmissions equipment. You have great opportunities for overtime when business is good. There are lots of awesome people there who will make coming to work very enjoyable.
Cons
There are a bunch of issues with managers not paying people a fair wage. There are issues concerning safety which are slowly being addressed, the new safety manager is much better than the last. There is some dumb decisions from management and there are some managers who are will not set employees up for success in order to make sufficient output but instead will use manipulation tactics to try and increase productivity.
