Pros
There were some genuinely great coworkers.
Cons
When I first joined Service Autopilot, it was one of the best places I’d ever worked. Leadership genuinely cared, the culture was strong, and the team felt valued. After the acquisition by Clearent and then Xplor, everything changed for the worse. Xplor dismantled the culture that Jonathan and John spent years building. Employees stopped being people and became metrics. Priorities shifted entirely toward revenue, not product quality, service, or customer experience. Morale dropped, turnover rose, and the software suffered for it. Promotions often felt disconnected from performance or competence. My last manager had no grasp of the role, no leadership skills, and no clear direction for the team. It was frustrating and demotivating to watch capable people be overlooked while the organization declined. What began as an exceptional company became, under Xplor, the worst work environment I’ve experienced. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone based on the direction it’s taken.
